If you ever find yourself having a bad day, we encourage you take about five minutes to look at the pictures of Boo the Pomeranian. We guarantee that you’ll feel a lot better.
Proclaimed as the world’s cutest dog, this 6 year old Pomeranian has managed to get the gleeful attention of everyone, from regular Facebook users around the world to celebrities like Khloe Kardashian and George Stephanopoulos (who called him the “ultimate chick magnet").
Boo’s Story
Boo first hit the web in 2009 when his owner started posting pictures of her dog online. Apparently, her friends loved the photos, so they decided to create a Boo Facebook page as joke. His claim to fame started to skyrocket when Ke$ha tweeted about Boo calling him her “new boyfriend†and when Khloe Kardashian wrote about him on her blog. After this, the likes came pouring in the thousands per day, and the rest is history. (Boo currently has more than 5 million fans on Facebook.)
Boo’s life is widely covered in the media and he’s even appeared in the show Good Morning America a number of times. Another proof is his immense fame? Boo also became a victim of a social media death hoax in April, when rumors claiming that he died in his sleep or drowned in a duck pond circulated on Twitter. This rumor was later debunked as the adorable Pomeranian remained alive and well.

Boo’s Owner
The identity of Boo’s mom remained a mystery until August 2008, when tech blog AllThingsD revealed that the world’s cutest dog belongs to Iren Ahn, a finance executive at Facebook. Prior to this discovery, Ahn used the stage name J.H. Lee because she wanted to keep her identity private and just keep the spotlight on her dog.
