Womewire The 3 Truths About Waterproof Mascaras

The 3 Truths About Waterproof Mascaras Exposed

When you enter a beauty store's mascara aisle, you always have a choice: waterproof mascara or ordinary mascara. It's common for a manufacturer to provide one mascara in both varieties; logically, waterproofing may appear to be the superior option. But only after much investigation. I've opted to forego waterproof mascara entirely. Yes, it's OK for special events, such as happy tears at a wedding or doing an underwater picture session. However, using it daily might cause dry, brittle eyelashes that are more prone to falling out (lash breakage is a real thing). Ahead, you will read about the three most important truths which will make you reconsider your makeup choices when it comes to waterproof mascaras. But first, for the beginners in makeup, let us start from the basics.   History of Mascaras Kohl was first used to darken the lashes and eyelids in 4000 BC. Kohl was created by grinding stibnite and was used to conceal one's eyes. It was thought to fend off evil spirits and guard the soul. It was utilized by men and women alike. Victorian women used to manufacture their mascara by heating a combination of ashes or lampblack and elderberry juice and applying it to their lashes. The notion of mascara did not emerge until the nineteenth century. Eugene Rimmel, a chemist, created a cosmetic utilizing petroleum jelly, which had just been synthesized at the time. Approximately at the same period, Thomas Lyle Williams made a comparable invention for his sister Maybel in 1915. In 1917, he began with the product that we now know as the brand Maybelline. What do mascaras do? Mascaras are often used to lengthen and thicken lashes. It promotes the growth of thicker, darker, and more defined eyelashes. Mascara comes in liquid, cream, and cake varieties. However, the basic formula stays the same.   What are waterproof mascaras? Waterproof mascara simply means a type of mascara that does not easily wash away with water. Carbon black or iron oxide are pigments used in mascara to darken the lashes, a polymer that covers the lashes, and oils or waxes to thicken the mascara. Oils such as lanolin oil, mineral, paraffin, petrolatum, castor, or carnauba wax, are used. Aside from these essential elements, waterproof mascaras contain different chemicals. Dimethicone copolyol is a form of silicone that provides a silky and smooth finish to the product. It repels water and is frequently used in shampoos and conditioners to help preserve a lustrous look. It is also used in mascara for the same purpose. Water does not react with it, allowing the mascara to remain smudge-free. If you're still a fan of waterproof mascara's lasting ability, here's what you need to know.   1. Waterproof mascara can cause lash drying Waterproof mascara is made more resistant to sweat, tears, and water by using waxes and silicones. When you compare two bottles of mascara—one ordinary and one waterproof—you'll discover that the latter has a few more components that aren't good for your lashes, such as isododecane and cyclopentasiloxane. “The components used to make the solution waterproof can have the effect of drying out lashes, leading to them falling out," Dr. Dendy Engelman says (dermatologist at Manhattan Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery). Consider it similar to long-lasting lipstick. It lasts forever, yet it leaves your lips cracked and dried. The same holds true for waterproof mascara.   2. There are two methods for removing waterproof mascara As a waterproof mascara is meant to persist, removing it might do more harm to the lash than conventional mascara. Getting waterproof formulations off takes many steps and a lot of rubbing. I usually begin with a makeup-removing wipe. Then, I go over my eyes again using a cotton pad and a specific eye makeup remover product. I still wind up with smeared towels at the end of the day (ugh!). It is critical to use an oil-based makeup remover before applying waterproof mascara. Use a cleaning oil, such as Vichy Pureté Thermale Cleansing Micellar Oil ($18), or a bi-phase makeup remover, such as Lancome Bi-Facil ($30). Allow around 15 seconds for the oil to break down the water-resistant components. To eliminate any lingering greasy residue, use a moderate facial cleanser.   3. Remove your waterproof mascara before going to bed “Because waterproof mascara is harder to remove at the end of the night," adds Dr. Engelman. "Sleeping with mascara on can cause lashes to fall out.” Even if your lashes don't entirely fall out, they can break. As you toss and turn at night, stiff mascara-coated hairs can become twisted and broken. And, for the record, eyelash serums aren't particularly effective. So, it's best to start with your lashes intact.   Why is it difficult to remove waterproof mascaras? Waterproof mascara is notoriously difficult to remove. Because it is built to be waterproof, it is exceedingly tough to disassemble once you wish to remove it. Sure, many manufacturers may claim that their mascara is waterproof yet readily removed with eye makeup remover when necessary. But have you ever experienced this? Whether you use the most exemplary eye makeup remover, the famous brand waterproof mascara is tough to remove. There will always be remnants of it on your lashes. If it's complicated to remove, it might take up to a day. It isn't helping your lashes at all. In severe circumstances, if the mascara isn't completely removed, it might lead to eye infections.   So, what is the solution? There are several considerably better choices. They're gentler on your lashes and the skin surrounding your eyes. And they still perform the same function as waterproof mascara.    Water-resistant Mascaras  They have less harsh components yet perform just as well as waterproof mascara. Both forms of mascara are designed to be water-resistant. As a result, water-resistant mascara is also resistant to sweat, tears, and everyday moisture. It protects against perspiration in the summer, while working out at the gym, or if your eyes tend to moisten or tear up often during the day. It's also kinder to the eyes because it's simpler to remove than waterproof mascara. Furthermore, it will not harm or cause your eyelashes to become brittle or damaged. As a result, it is appropriate for everyday use. The most significant difference between these two is the amount of wetness they can resist. It is not resistant to a day of swimming in a pool or the sea. However, this is only a concern if your face will be immersed in water the whole time, for instance, during swimming. So, water-resistant mascara will suffice unless you're going swimming or plan on immersing your face in water frequently throughout the day.   Water Resistant Natural and Organic Mascara Here are some excellent healthy beauty alternatives that are softer and safer for your eyes and health. The Ere Perez Almond Oil Mascara is waterproof and resistant to tears, sweat, and ordinary moisture. It also only contains natural substances that are excellent for your eyelashes and will not harm them. It's also vegan-friendly. Jane Iredale Pure Lash Mineral Mascara is another of my favorite natural water-resistant mascaras. Again, only nutritional elements are used to care for your lashes. Despite this, it still protects against moisture and is simple to remove. It's also vegan-friendly. It contains wheat and hence is not gluten-free.     Tips for removing waterproof mascara There are two methods for removing waterproof mascara. Using commercial products Use hypoallergenic products even if you do not have sensitive skin; they are less damaging. To remove waterproof makeup, use an oil-based makeup cleaner. Pour a generous quantity of cleanser onto a cotton ball or pad. Close your eyes and place the cotton pad/ball on them. Note: Gently rub the cotton pad on your eyelids and let it soak in. After a few seconds, gently glide the cotton pad/balls downwards toward the lashes' tips. If necessary, continue the operation until the whole product has been removed. By using natural products There are a few natural items that will help you simply remove sticky mascara. Here's a list to get you started: Olive Oil: Take three to four drops of olive oil, apply them to your eyes, and massage them together. Gently massage your eyelids. Do not rub your eyes. Wipe the oil away with a cotton ball or pad. Coconut oil: Take a small quantity of coconut oil on a cotton pad and dab it on your eyelids for 10-20 seconds. Gently wipe it down. Almond Oil: For this oil, use one of the above methods. Since of its thin consistency, it can be used in various ways. After wiping away the product: Use a q-tip to take off the mascara from the foundation. Wash your face with lukewarm water. Apply moisturizer, and you're done!   Conclusion If I were to select a favorite item from my beauty kit, it would undoubtedly be mascara. Unfortunately, there is such a thing as too much mascara. The famous brand waterproof mascara components are far more potent and harsher than those in ordinary mascara. These substances harm your eyelashes, causing them to become very dry and brittle. This causes fallout and the loss of some of your lovely eyelashes. Waterproof mascara is notoriously difficult to remove. Because it is built to be waterproof, it is exceedingly tough to disassemble once you wish to remove it. Fortunately, Womenwire.com has you covered. Use mascara sparingly and follow these waterproof removal methods to maintain healthy fluttering lashes for the rest of your life!

We're not saying that chili peppers and other bright reds don't have a place. A delectable pair of cranberry nails or a drop of claret have risen to the top of our color options for a more contemporary, on-trend style. Remember that you may use any hue on your lips to enhance the attractiveness of your hands. Soft red is a hue that looks great on short nails, long claws, and a pout.     7. Choose the Cleopatra treatment at your next salon appointment to adorn your fingertips with on-trend turquoise.   9. Orange ombre This is sunlight on your nails with a faint sheen that screams party. My shaky hands make it difficult to paint my nails without smearing or making a mess. We have compiled tried and tested ideas to help you master the art of immaculate nail coloring. First, always use a dual base layer coat to prevent your nail paint from flaking or peeling off. The base coat also provides a smooth texture that makes it easier to apply the following layer. To achieve the paint's actual color, apply a coat of white nail polish first, followed by your colored manicure. This will enhance the genuine color of your polish. Unless you're a professional nail artist, feel free to ask for assistance with molds and stickers. You may also use eyeliner as a technique for nail art.   Where can I get the most incredible nail art? Your nails aren't only about bright colors and fun polishes; they're also about the design and aesthetic patterns they have. These nail art trends include drawing attractive drawings or caricatures and layering different hues. To master these stunning patterns, always have gel liners on hand. They are ideal for the contemporary squiggly lines of abstract painting that are now popular. A 6-piece classic nude neutral gel polish colors are constructed of 9 toxin-free chemicals, making them safe and odorless.   How to ace my nail art skills? The nail color trends are dominated by florals and bold colors. Apart from painting your nails, this is the one for you if you like to add some fun flair to them with nail stickers! They're ideal for fingernail and toenail embellishments. If you apply these stickers correctly, they will last for a long time and retain their brilliance. To safeguard the nail sticker, add a top coat. It's a must-have item for every nail art aficionado. Before applying a nail paint remover, do a skin test and wait a few minutes to rule out any allergies. If you see any redness or other allergic reaction indicators, remove them immediately.   How do I keep a healthy nail care routine? While nutrition, hygiene, and consistency are essential, here are a few pointers to help you maintain a good nail care regimen. Healthy, strong nails have a specific type of power, whether you work the nail colors or not! It all starts with basic nail cleaning and moisturizing. Give your nails special care while applying hand lotion. Cuticles are commonly trimmed, pushed back, or removed entirely, yet they are only the nail's natural protective coating. So don't meddle with it. Gentle nail care is the finest. As a result, digging behind the nails with a nail file is not recommended to remove dirt. When your nails are in good condition, it is much simpler to adorn them with colors and stickers and give them the makeover that they deserve. We believe the summer nail colors described above will help you spice up your summer energy and amp up your nail art ideas. These brilliant and shimmering nail colors can brighten your mood while also elevating your style quotient.   Conclusion If you absolutely want to embrace what's hot and “out-there,” there are more daring hues to try than just your favorite ones. Womewire Eye Makeup Looks In 2022

Explore The Top 10 Jaw-Dropping Eye Makeup Looks In 2022

Just when you think that makeup couldn't get any more interesting, the new 2022 beauty trends completely transformed the game. There's undoubtedly something about the level of craftsmanship behind these looks. This year's eye makeup trends include jewels, Euphoria-inspired makeup, and nude makeup looks. And if you're looking for some inspiration, here are ten looks we have compiled for the finest eye makeup trends of 2022 that virtually anybody can master; believe me, you'll see what we are talking about soon enough.   1. The Pastel Trend Try a shimmering, prismatic pastel hue on your eyes if you're not frightened of bold colors. Celebrity makeup artist Sean Harris recommends brushing your favorite shimmering pastel eyeshadow over your eyelids. It's also ideal for spring 2022 makeup. Harris recommends a pastel pink or peach gloss (like Fenty Beauty's Gloss Bomb Universal Luminzer or Tower28's Clean Shine On Jelly Lip Gloss).   2. Cat eyelashes Do you want to discover how a professional makeup artist creates fantastic looks with artificial eyelashes? Harris recommends halving your artificial lashes and curling the outside piece. Curl your natural lashes, and then add lengthening mascara. Then, for a raised, flared cat-eye impression, attach the artificial lash piece to the outer area of the eye.   3. '90s look The '90s eye makeup is making a comeback, and with that, we will see an increase in popularity of, dare I say it, "thin brows." If you're nervous about using tweezers (like me), try makeup artist Christin Zito Cook's brow hack: Instead of combing your brows up and filling them in, use a brow gel to curve them into a narrower line.     4. Dramatic appearance For powerful flashes of color in dramatic eye moments, Amber Amos (California Based Beauty Artist and founder of "Our Beauty Edit," CA) recommends About Face Beauty's Matte Fluid Eye Paints. They provide a lot of long-wear and pigment without breaking or smearing, making them ideal for dramatic eye looks like Jennifer Lopez. She also recommends Suva Beauty's hydra liners for concealing any false glue lines.   5. Trend of Faux Freckles "It feels strange to call freckles a trend when they're something that many people are born with," says Taylour Chanel (Celebrity makeup artist, LA). Freckles, thankfully, are being accepted and cherished for their beauty. Taylor Chanel advises dotting a couple of those cuties with a nude eye pencil color over the bridge of your nose when doing the eye makeup.   6. Gem Embellished Eye Makeup The jeweled eye look, we believe, will be the most stunning cosmetic trend of 2022. This year will see the emergence of glitter and pearls and the gluing of many items to our faces. Amos recommends using face jewels with glue since they are much easier to put on and take off. You can also use L'oreal Paris Dermo Expert eye makeup remover. It has a micellar-water base that easily breaks down heavy products, sticky substances, artificial lashes, and adhesive eye shadows without leaving your skin irritated or dry.     7. Neon Eye Makeup Neon eyeliner is one of our favorite cosmetic trends for 2022 because it can be used to create a whole makeup look without the need for mixing eyeshadow. It may take a few tries to master, but a felt-tip liquid eyeliner can help you draw a crisp line on your eyelid without dragging or skipping.   8. Full Brows Fuller brows are among the hottest trends- the more significant the size and length, the better. There are several techniques to get this super-fluffy brow: Get your brows laminated. Comb them with a clear or colored eyebrow gel (we like Milk Makeup Kush Fiber Eyebrow Gel and Patrick Ta Major Brow Lamination Gel). Use the soap brow method for a less expensive technique.   9. Minimalistic or Natural Eye Makeup Look I'm thankful for this minimalist winged eyeliner trend because I've never been able to master the complete cat-eye. This one is much easier to achieve—grab a liquid or crayon eyeliner in your favorite color (I'm currently enamored with Camila Cabello's gold eyeliner) and draw a little triangle on the outer corners of your eyes. 10. Eye makeup green, eye makeup blue, and brown. The bright green color is having a massive moment right now. It was the most disregarded hue for most of my life, and now I can't get enough of it—and who can blame me? Consider the following variations: Army! Lime! Mint! There are virtually endless options, but if you choose any of them, including this blended forest-green eyeshadow, you'll be bang on style this year. Other colors in trend for eye makeup are blue and brown, so go ahead and experiment with these three colors to create the desired look. Conclusion It's reasonable to say that minimalistic eye makeup has won the year. While dewy, natural skin will remain popular, a maximalist approach to eye makeup will be introduced with the new year, based on what we're witnessing on the red carpet and what the 2022 Pinterest Trend Report predicts. If you want to remain on top of the ever-changing beauty trends, keep following us on WomenWire.com because we will ensure that you are ahead of the curve of eye makeup styles that will be popular in 2022.

10 Simple DIY Face Masks For A Flawless Skin

The pandemic allowed us to explore home beauty treatments. For some (reluctant self-waxers), the changeover was unpleasant. Still, it also popularized the DIY face mask—one of the most pleasurable (and practical) skin-care solutions available, right in your kitchen.  A DIY face mask prepared from basic materials puts self-care into perspective. You are spending the time to care for yourself. You also know where each ingredient comes from in your fridge or pantry, chosen by the person who knows your complexion best: you.   1. Homemade face mask with raspberry and green tea Despite having only three ingredients, this face mask packs a powerful punch. The recipe's antioxidant-rich green tea and raspberries help brighten dull, drab skin with each application. Isn't that impressive? Here's what you'll need to give it a shot: Ingredients include: 1 cup of water (boiled) One green tea teabag Six ripe raspberries Method: After steeping your green tea for two minutes in boiling water, slice open the top of the bag and empty the tea leaves into a small basin. Mix the ingredients using a small fork to form a paste. For a healthy dose of vitamin C, blend the raspberries with the blueberries (the chunky nature of the berries is OK, it's simply the natural texture). Take a lump-sized amount and apply it to clean, dry skin for 15 minutes. After rinsing with tap water, blot it dry with a towel. Apply twice for incredible results.    2. Homemade face mask for dry skin Bananas are rich in nutrients, making them excellent for DIY facial masks that hydrate, brighten, and even temporarily fill fine lines. Coupled with other superior components such as anti-inflammatory honey, calming yogurt, and brightening turmeric, it creates a potent combination.  Ingredients include: One ripe banana One teaspoon of raw honey One teaspoon of plain yogurt One teaspoon turmeric Method: Banana and banana peel are used equally to create this face mask's secret ingredient (which contains most of the nutrients). It's best to slice the skin, crush the banana, and mix the rest of the ingredients into a yellow paste. Rinse the lotion entirely off, then apply a little quantity to clean skin and let it on for around ten minutes. Your skin will seem softer and more supple due to this treatment.   3. Under-eye face mask for dark circles We get it: Sometimes, you simply want a face mask that targets specific areas—and if you're searching for a quick fix for puffy under-eye circles, this is the product because caffeine has the power to constrict your blood vessels and temporarily tighten your skin.  Ingredients include: One teaspoon of ground coffee One teaspoon honey, raw (more if needed) Method: Use a mixing bowl to mix all ingredients, gradually adding additional honey until you get a thin, liquid mixture. Use a fan brush to apply this BB because the goal here is to apply the blend only under your eyes. Your eyes will look less puffy straight away if you let them sit on your skin for 10 minutes before washing them off.   4. Face mask to treat eczema This simple formula for irritated, sensitive, or eczema-prone skin is broken in this face mask lesson. By the way, it's soft enough to apply to any part of your body so that you can apply it to dry regions such as your legs and arms.  Ingredients include: One teaspoon oatmeal One teaspoon honey One teaspoon of water The star of this easy DIY is oatmeal, which contains antioxidant and anti-inflammatory qualities that help soothe the dry skin and exfoliate the dead cells on your face. It's much better when combined with antibacterial honey (and a little water for consistency).    Method: To receive the maximum relaxing benefits, combine all ingredients in a dish, spread a thin layer over clean skin, and let it on for around ten minutes.   5. Rejuvenating face mask We all know how our skin can often look...off? (Or am I the only one?) That's when you'll need this homemade face mask. It's refreshing, relaxing, and leaves your skin looking dewy. But don't take my word for it; YouTuber Georgia Peach's flawless skin is more than enough proof. Ingredients include: One teaspoon of Greek yogurt One teaspoon oats One tablespoon honey Greek yogurt is best for reducing inflammation because of its high lactic acid content (which aids in skin-softening) and probiotics.  Method: Mix it with oatmeal and honey in a dish; apply on your face and leave it on for fifteen minutes. Wash your face with warm water. Your skin will feel incredibly soft.   6. DIY facemask for treating acne This custom face mask for acne-prone skin includes a calming, dark-spot-busting solution made with nutmeg, honey, and milk and a brightening, anti-inflammatory mask made with turmeric. However, our personal favorite is another effective spot-treatment mask containing tea tree oil and aloe vera gel because it is simple and effective, with only a two-ingredient recipe. Ingredients include: 1 tbsp aloe vera gel  One drop of tea tree oil Method: Tea tree oil is a natural antibacterial and acne-fighting ingredient, but it's far too strong to use on your entire body (even as a spot treatment). It may practically burn your skin if not diluted with enough water). To offset the potentially unpleasant effects of this mask, aloe vera is used to soothe irritated and broken-out skin. Let it rest for ten minutes on clean, dry skin before washing it off and applying moisturizer.   7. DIY facemask to reduce sunburn or inflammation Another one of my favorite anti-inflammatory masks is made with aloe vera and matcha powder. Ingredients include: 2 tbsp aloe vera gel (or, in a pinch, aloe vera gel) One teaspoon of green tea matcha powder Aloe vera is an excellent remedy for sore and itchy skin, relaxing and gently moisturizing. Anti-inflammatory and redness-reducing properties are attributed to matcha powder. Method: After mixing the ingredients together, apply a thin layer to clean skin and let it sit for twenty minutes before rinsing and moisturizing.   8. Facemask for oil type skin  They are typically loaded with harsh chemicals that cause more harm than good. However, this technique employs only two ingredients—egg whites and aloe—to gently absorb excess oil without damaging the skin. Ingredients include: One white egg 2 tbsp aloe vera gel (or, in a pinch, aloe vera gel) I know it sounds weird to apply raw eggs to your skin. Still, egg whites contain a natural antibiotic that can help prevent blocked pores while absorbing excess oil. (They won't be as effective as professionally researched and designed acne remedies, but they won't hurt either unless you're sensitive to eggs.) And, of course, aloe is a relaxing, soothing, and moisturizing powerhouse. If you have oily skin, this two-in-one face mask can assist.  Method: Mix the ingredients, then dollop them onto your face for 10 minutes before rinsing them off.   9. Facemask to even skin tone and reduce dark spots This mask is for anyone dealing with hyperpigmentation and acne scars. Turmeric, an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory that has been researched to gently lighten discoloration while destroying bacteria on your skin, is the key ingredient here.  Ingredients included: One teaspoon of powdered turmeric 2 tbsp unsweetened yogurt (or olive oil, or your favorite face oil) Method: Using straight turmeric without a "buffer" will briefly turn your skin vivid yellow. So, add a dab of yogurt or oil to build a barrier and avoid any jaundice-like feelings, then let the mixture on your skin for 10 to 15 minutes before rinsing with your regular face wash.   10. Facemask for treating blackheads This DIY face mask effectively reduces the blackheads on your nose.  Ingredients include: 2 tsp gelatin, unflavored 2 tbsp water and six capsules of activated charcoal (broken open) Method: Mix the ingredients, then apply this thick black face mask coating to your nose. As a heads up, take a test to check your skin's threshold before keeping it on for too long. As a "magnet," charcoal draws out and absorbs excess oil from your skin, making it great for oily and blackhead-prone areas of the face and body. Just keep in mind that this mask dries into a peel-off, so use it only on your nose, which has a more forgiving skin tone.   Conclusion Glowing skin is a symbol of excellent health. No wonder face masks have grown in popularity. They're simple to use, enjoyable to create, and significantly improve our physical appearance. Masks may moisturize skin, eliminate excess oils, and help pores seem minor. Additionally, they help in the removal of contaminants. So, utilize these ten amazing facemask recipes from WomenWire.com to reclaim your skin's lost radiance.

Women Wire Watches For Women: A Complete Buying Guide

Watches For Women: A Complete Buying Guide

Wristwatches have grown in popularity among men and women over the last few decades. Before the 20th century, women wore wristwatches primarily for styling purposes rather than for keeping track of time. While a few women think of wristwatches as an accessory, they pay more attention to how the watch looks.  That is why we think that ladies must choose a watch that is in keeping with their personal style. In this way, their watch might be a wonderful accessory to their clothing or perhaps a trademark of their personal style. It's a whole different story when it comes to picking out a watch. Women need to think about a wide range of elements outside only the aesthetics. Ahead is a seven-step guide for making the right decision when buying a perfect watch, either for yourself or as a gift to someone.   1. Movements It's important to know that movement is at the core of a watch. The watch will not function correctly unless it has a good movement. There is no doubt that Swiss movements continue to be the best. When it comes to movement, you have two options: mechanical movement or quartz movement. Given the high degree of craftsmanship and the premium grade of technical features, the mechanical movement appears to be intriguing. This type of mobility, however, necessitates greater maintenance work. If it has a manual movement, you must remember to wind it. If the watch is "self-winding" or has an automatic movement, you must wear it frequently or use a watch winder to ensure the accuracy of the timepiece. If not, a quartz movement is a good option. Battery-powered quartz watches are more accurate and less costly than mechanical watches. With this form of movement, the battery only has to be replaced every two to three years, according to the manufacturer's recommendations, or when the battery has weakened. 2. Flaunt your skin tone It is essential to evaluate how the watch materials and embellishments compliment your skin tone, just as it does with other accessories. Wearing a watch that complements your skin tone can significantly improve your appearance. 3. Precious stones Diamonds and stone colors such as pink, blue, red, and magenta will compliment cool skin tones. As a result, a watch dial adorned with diamonds, rubies, blue sapphire, aquamarine, or emeralds might be a complementary option. Women with warm skin tones might pick earthy gemstones such as alexandrite, citrine, garnet, or yellow diamonds. 4. Dial You may select the best watch dial for you based on your attire and lifestyle. A minimalist watch with a primary dial is a terrific option if you wear business attire to meetings or leisure events. On the other hand, a jeweled watch embellished with valuable jewels may best be paired with elegant clothes for a distinguished or special event. The dial size should neither be too large nor too small for your wrist. Von Doren (A Norwegian watch brand) performed a poll for our Jotunheim Lady line and discovered that most ladies chose watches with dial diameters of 34-38 mm. And that's how it should be, so that the watch may become an elegant addition to a woman's attire.  5. Straps There are many different sorts of straps available for you to pick from. Because women often wear different clothes, we suggest you have different watches or belts to match all situations. If you want to wear watches with bracelet bands, it is preferable to pick a bracelet material similar to the case material. You may also choose the color and material that complements your skin tone. Leather straps are also a stylish option. The color of the leather straps on your wristwatch should coordinate with the rest of your clothing. Let's say you have a black leather purse or black high-heels; you should undoubtedly select a black leather strap for the watch. Furthermore, using a Nato strap is pretty fashionable these days. This type of strap, I feel, will be appropriate for casual or outdoor activities, as well as for pairing with athletic clothing. 6. Case Materials A watch with stainless steel, silver, or white gold casing will look best on a girl with a cool skin tone. On the other hand, warm-skinned ladies should choose wristwatches with gold or rose gold cases. Canvas and plastic watches appear less expensive, but they are often sturdier and more useful outside.
